Police detective is a person who reserves and reports the law.  There job duties include protecting the people, serving our country and solving crimes. In order to be a Police detective one must be loyal and respectful. In addition, one must go to school. To become a Police detective, one must go to school and study criminology. He or she will learn about sociology and crimes. It usually takes 2-4 years to become a detective.
                After someone receives training to be a Police detective they have to pass a test. The only places you can work as a Police detective is specific cities. A person who is starting off in the field can expect to earn 76,730 dollars per year.
               In conclusion, Police detectives are great people. Some benefits of being a Police detective are you get to help the citizens of a state. On the other hand, some disadvantages are your risking your life. Overall I think I would love to be a Police detective.
